International Games Day @ your library is an initiative run by volunteers from around the world and auspices by theAmerican Library Association, in partnership with Nordic Game Day and the Australian Library and Information Association, to reconnect communities through their libraries around the educational, recreational, and social value of all types of games. In the 21st century, libraries are about much more than books. On Saturday, November 21, 2015, more than one thousand libraries around the world will showcase gaming programs and services in support of IGD15.

I've had Houston Go Club come out in the past and teach teens how to play. Contact information is on their website:

The manga Hikaru no Go (which we have in the system) has rules and "how to play" sections in each volume. There is also a Learn to Play Go book series by Janice Kim & Soo-hyun Jeong which is very helpful. I don't see any copies in HPL's catalog but Harris County Public Library owns some copies if anyone wants to ILL or has a HCPL card.
I have a file for an M&M Go board and will share that file shortly. Maybe one of our trainings could be on how to play Go!
