Display: Through the Looking Glass

Through the Looking Glass is now in theaters so I decided to do a fantasy display featuring Lewis Carroll. The butterflies are green and blue die cuts made out of the printed out text from Alice in Wonderland. There are glass bowls, under which are elements representing themes from the book (playing cards, tea cup). And a wire tree (something I had at home already) holds postcards of illustrations with quotes as well as fictional apothecary labels from Alice in Wonderland. The books on display are teen fantasy books pulled from the shelves (heaven knows there’s no shortage of teen fantasy novels out there, so it’s not hard to keep the books replenished.
